Community Radio Event

Welsh Community Radio Station Cluster: Digital Networks Workshop
Following the success and positive response from the attendees at the first DNB (Digitally Networked Business) Project's Workshop held in October 2010, we would like to inform you that a second Workshopwill be held on Wednesday 13th July, 2011 at 10am until 1pm:

Venue:
CA419 (the boardroom).
The Atrium - University of Glamorgan
Adam Street
Cardiff
Wales
CF24 2FN
The Workshop is being held to bring together all stakeholders who are involved directly or have working links with the Community Radio Station Cluster within Wales. During the conference, there will be a demonstration of the DNB (or Digitally Networked Business) Demonstrator Toolkit. The Toolkit was developed as a rapidly developed prototype system to showcase basic DNB technologies and collaboration tools. The system is now being made available by the Welsh Government to be tailored for individual projects and the Welsh Community Radio Cluster will soon have the opportunity to trial this system.

For those stakeholders who can not travel to Cardiff, we will be making use of the video conferencing facilities at the Atrium in order to run the event as an online conference. If you would like to dial-in to the conference then please could you also let me know.

Furthermore, please feel free to forward the invite on to any of your colleagues.
We look forward to meeting with you at the workshop.
Kind Regards,
Keri-Anne.

Follow up event today in Port Talbot with WAG

I look forward to another great event today. There are no live blogging or Twitter feeds set up but you are welcome to get the ball rolling...

Here is the original invite from WAG:

Dear Stakeholder;
On behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government we would like to invite you to an interactive workshop to help shape the way business is undertaken across the existing cluster of Community Radio Stations within Wales over the next 5 years and beyond.

‘Digitally Networked Business’ platforms can provide your organisation with valuable tools to increase collaborative working between stakeholders. They create new market opportunities, improve sharing of knowledge and skills, and allow access to shared applications and resources delivering significant business benefits.

The workshop is part of a Deployment Planning process being commissioned by the DNB (Digitally Networked Business) Project within the Welsh Assembly Government, responsible for facilitating growth and promoting E-Business best practice. As a valuable stakeholder within the cluster group, we would value your attendance and input at the DNB workshop to shape this opportunity.

Your commercial competition across Europe will soon also be benefitting from such activities as Wales has been asked to lead on the sharing of best practice in the field of 'Digitally Networking' in partnership with 8 other EU countries. We would urge you not to let this opportunity pass you by.

Your ideas will be instrumental in helping us to scope out the future direction of the cluster group in terms of its use of digital networks.
